Independent design authority

The independentdesign authority foroptical & transmissionnetworks.

Survey to as-built for rail, metro and mission-critical urban telecoms. Vendor-neutral, buildable and engineered for first-time approval.

Every budget is engineered to worst-case, end-of-life margins. No product line to sell.

Lifecycle

A governed lifecycle, with sign-off gates.

Every package moves survey to as-built through a fixed sequence. Two stages are formal sign-off gates. Nothing proceeds to civils or handover until the LLD and the assurance case are signed.

01

Survey

Ground-truth route, ducts, chambers, reach.

02

IHLD / HLD

Topology, backbone routes, service sectors.

03

LLD

Splice packs, channel plans, chamber layouts, BoM, civils SLDs.

04

Assurance

Link-loss, OSNR and GSNR proven to end-of-life margin under TfL and LU assurance.

As-built

Red-line capture, handover, O&M, close-out.

Method

How we engineer a span.

Every span is budgeted event by event: connectors, fibre and splices, proven against the worst-case, end-of-life limit before anything is committed to civils. The same discipline carried the Connected London LLD packs through approval first time.

Case study

Proof from live programmes.

Case study · Rail & metro operational telecoms

Renewing a live metro operational network with headroom for CBTC and ESN.

London Underground's Connect network is being renewed while carrying live CCTV, radio, SCADA and operational comms. We led the transmission and migration design of the fibre and SDH bearer, delivered the IP-CCTV migration and NMC integration, and engineered deliberate capacity headroom for future CBTC and Emergency Services Network services. It is a safety-of-life estate with no room for rework.

Advice with no equipment to sell.

Our budgets are engineered to worst-case, end-of-life margins across multi-vendor estates: Cisco, Juniper, Nokia and Arista today, plus the Alcatel-Lucent, Brocade and Ericsson systems still in the ground. You get advice you can take to assurance, with no OEM interest behind it.

Impartial

No OEM allegiance and no reseller margin. The design serves the estate.

Buildable

Splice packs, BoMs and civils a contractor can construct as drawn.

Accountable

Numbers you can take to assurance, engineered to margins we will stand behind at sign-off.
